Maxim Vasiliev was born on May 12, 1968. He began his career in 1986 at the age of 17. As of 15.02.2012, professional work experience in culture is 26 years.
In 1987 he graduated from the Magadan Regional School of Arts, having received the specialty of a teacher in the button accordion class and head of the orchestra of folk instruments. He mastered playing almost all musical instruments. He graduated from the Khabarovsk State Institute of Arts and Culture with a degree in artistic director of a musical and instrumental group, a teacher.
Upon completion of service in the ranks of the Navy (1987-1990) with the rank of chief ship sergeant major, he worked as a teacher at the Children's School of Arts in the village. Egvekinot.
Six months later, he was invited to the position of artistic director at the Regional House of Culture, where for 5 years he organized VIA, vocal groups, a live music and entertainment radio show "NORD". He achieved the opening of a recording studio, one of the first in the district.
In 1993 - the author of musical and entertainment evenings at the recreation center.
In 1994, under his leadership, the vocal group "Sonnet" won the 2nd All-Russian Pop Song Performers Contest "Agidel-92" in Ufa and the 1st degree laureate of the 1st District Pop Song Festival "Morning Star" in Anadyr. This collective continues to exist today. In the summer of 1994, he was invited to head the music program of a concert brigade serving the coastal villages of Chukotka.
Since 1995, he has been working as the musical director of the Chukchi-Eskimo ensemble "Ergyron" in the city of Anadyr, where he mastered the art of northern folklore (playing the bath, throat rattles, etc.). Many works of authorship written in the genre of Chukchi folklore have received recognition in Russia and abroad. He has recorded two original music albums. The latter, written in 2001 in the city of Anadyr, was repeatedly broadcast on local television.
Since 2000 he has been accepted as the chief musical director at the Okrug House of Culture.
Since the beginning of 2005 he has been the head of the art and production department, creates the Vocalise group, the Fregat vocal group, the Renaissance classical music ensemble, the Kalinka folk music ensemble and the Blues pop and jazz ensemble. In 2007 he initiated the establishment of the Regional Public Organization "Creative Union" Lyra ". He is an arranger, composer and performer of pop songs, including author's songs.
Since 2010 he has been working as a musical director in the State Chukchi-Eskimo ensemble "Ergyron" and writes music for the new program.
From May to August 2012, he was appointed Acting Director of the Ergyron State Chukchi-Eskimo Ensemble.
In September he returns to his duties. Develops a project for participation in a competition for grants (creation of a musical performance), which receives 1st place (and targeted funding for 4 million rubles). For 2 years he has been participating in it as a composer, co-scriptwriter and artistic director In 2013 he also won a grant and wrote a children's musical.
In 2017 - General Director of a concert agency. In 2018 - moving to Anapa.
