It was created in February 2007 with the aim of supporting and promoting the creative foundations of multidirectional music in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. At the beginning of its existence, three collectives were created on its basis: the ensemble of Russian folk music "Kalinka", the ensemble of classical music "Renaissance" and the collective of pop and jazz music "Blues".
